A busy year for all.

We welcomed our new starters and our returning children in September.

Over the year we have explored a variety of topics led by the children’s interests.

Westbury court Care Home invited the children to draw pictures of their Heroes for an art competition.

We practised our Makaton signing to support the children’s speech development and communication skills.

We celebrated the coronation of our new King, Charles 3rd.

We explored a variety of art styles . We looked at painters Matisse and Olga Koval and sculptors Jon Foreman and Ugo Rondinone.

We had visits from Dave Hickory and his Marvellous Magical Maths talking about shape and size and Kris from Tropical Discovery Workshop with his bugs and ‘not so’ mini beasts.

We were excited to find a frog had decided to live in the special ‘bug mound’ we had made in the garden and we found a newt in our pond.
