We said goodbye to our school leavers and wished them well on their next adventure and welcomed our new little ones.

We explored a variety of textures and sensory invitations to play. Water, dough, soft collage, rice pumpkins and farm play.

At Christmas our star decorated tree was on display at the Westbury Christmas Tree Festival. We Were grateful to Westbury Lions for getting in touch with Father Christmas for us so he could come to our party.

We said good bye and thank you to our lovely Daisy Lady Jacqui. Jacqui started work at the Methodist Pre School in 1987 which changed to Carousel in 1988. She worked there until 1990 when she left to to have her daughter and returned to work at Daisy Chain in 1998 and so dedicated 31 years of her life to the children of Westbury. Serving 28 at Daisy Chain.

At Daisy Chain we have a wide range of activities some change daily, whilst other themes last for a week. In the new year we celebrated Chinese New Year with Dragon Dancing , Noodle play and painting.

We explored numbers with Pond Play and Magnatiles, Construction at the penguin play and Humpty Dumpty wall building and strengthened our fingers exploring playdough and squeezing oranges and lemons. To name but a few of our activities.
